DANTES Principles of Public Speaking is up next! Questions:
1.) Anyone out there passed this DSST test? 2.) If you have passed it (and congratulations for you, by the way!) did you have prior experience with "communicating professionally"--like speaking to large groups, debate, etc.? 3.) What did you find was the hardest thing about this test? I've heard a lot about how impossible this test is, but I refuse to let that intimidate me ! Study hard, pray hard and attack the test; do or die; pass, great! fail, you tried your best; refuse self-pity--that's a sure recipe for a DSST disaster If any of you out there have suggestions/comments for/about this test, I'm all ears! |

In 2005 it had an 84% pass rate -- the highest of all DSST tests. And it offers Humanities credits. SEE!!
DANTES SUBJECT STANDARDIZED TESTS (DSST) VOLUME PASS RATE FY05 How's that for a stress reliever?

hiya, I don't have to take that test (thank goodness!) - - but - - I know some people who have. (Wait--- is this the one where you have to actually do a speech? If so ... keep reading....) One person I know didn't pass the verbal part....got a second opinion... and ended up passing it. So....just thought I'd share that.

You're absolutely RIGHT! Whew...that is a stress reliever . P.S. do you know what kind of scale the ACE uses? What would be an 'A' in the class? |
