    Default More FEMA lovin'

Finally received my TESC/FEMA transcription after 6 weeks.

Here's the breakdown and TESC equivalent:

    IS001 - EDM101
    IS003 - EDM399
    IS007 - EDM103
    IS008.A - EDM190
    IS010 - EDM191
    IS011 - EDM192
    IS015.A - EDM223
    IS111 - EDM193
    IS120 - EDM120
    IS139 - EDM203
    IS208 - EDM126
    IS230 - EDM107
    IS235 - EDM224
    IS240 - EDM207
    IS241 - EDM208
    IS242 - EDM209
    IS244 - EDM210
    IS271 - EDM242
    IS275 - EDM124
    IS288 - EDM122
    IS292 - EDM200
    IS301 - EDM172
    IS324 - EDM121
    IS346 - EDM155
    IS386 - EDM232
    IS-393.A - EDM140
    IS513 - EDM303

Credit not awarded (I think by mistake because there is a TESC course to match):
IS279 - EDM130 (I contacted TESC this morning to have credit issued)

Credit definitely not awarded (no TESC course match):
    IS005.A
    IS302
    IS331
    IS394.A
    IS546

27 credits awarded, hopefully 28 once TESC corrects their error.

Just out of curiosity. Does this mean that for the TESC BS in Human Services specializing in Emergency Disaster Services
Thomas Edison State College - Prospective Students - Undergraduate Programs - Degree Programs - Bachelor of Science in Human Services
you could test out of the FEMA courses to cover the 33 credit specialization, then test out of a handful of the core subjects which seem to be covered with DANTES, ECE, and TESC exams, enroll in TESC and get that degree.

It seems like a very doable 2nd Bachelors if all of that applies.

I don't know about that degree. I'm having the credits transferred over to Excelsior to use for "Applied Professional" credits.

Greggy, I sent you two PMs. Please read them both, one after another, before responding to either.

Today I received my TESC/FEMA transcription after 4 weeks. 31 credits. EC should receive this week . TESC is the last transcript to EC, so EC should complete my unoffical eval in 2 weeks.

It looks like IS630, IS631, IS632. I will go over the list again to check.

    Greggy,
Can I ask how long it took you to complete all of these FEMA courses? Several months? or just weeks?

I may use the FEMA courses for fallback credit if I need them, but don't think at this point that I will need them. Max I would need is about 15.

Any chance you could rate them and show which ones were the easiest/quickest to complete???
