I though a bit of the exam itself made it easier. The structure of alot of questions that were basicly

    a. group of authors
    b. group of poets
    c. group of painters
    d. group of musicians
    e. group of architects

There were several in each group, usually three. Thats 15 names up there. There is alot via logic that you can do to increase your odds, plus instacerts best qualtity is that you get name reconigition..

    Default Thanks All!

After using both Instacert and a COMEX study guide, I managed a 59 on the Humanities CLEP. It was a bit difficult but the Instacert certainly provided a great foundation. Thanks all for your insight!!!

Thanks for the tips. I'm scheduled to take this exam next week and I'm so stressed out about it. If I pass I will have completed all of my degree requirements. If I don't I'll need 4 hours; 1 of the 4 must be in humanities. I've been using the CLEP study guide along with instancert. I pray I do well.

    Default REA Book Anyone?

REA published CLEP Humanities several weeks ago and I am wondering if anyone beside me purchased it and actually used it for their exam. If so, how would you rate its effectiveness? THANKS!!

I was told that the Hum CLEP was re-written recently and the older study guide is outdated. Anybody know if that is true? I am hoping instantcert can help me get the newer info.

Where did you receive this information? None of the recent feedback from members here seems to indicate that the exam has changed...

Default Anyone taken the Humanities clept recently?

Wanting to know if memorizing the major poets, authors, playwrights, artists and their major work as listed on instantCert is sufficient to pass this test. Any tips would be appreciated.
