I know there is a final Exam on the Student web, but is it one of the Exams or can I take either paper or Online.

And finally does the Proctor still need to sign the Envelope if I take the exam on line

    Thanks

It's not online as you have to show all of your work. Remember the proctored exam is NOT multiple choice.

I got my Penn Foster Final result for information literacy last week I had a 100 on it.
From my experience this can be done in few days studying couple of hours a day. And the final Protocor Exam is not Bad at all, it's open book, But I should say you will need to know the material because all the other exams counts towards your Final Protocor Exam. I took long because I put it all aside due to alot of traveling and work. (this is the Beautify of schools like Penn Foster) you have some time

    Scored a 95 and 100.

The tests are open book and are included in the study guide. The only reason that you go online is to submit the answers electronically.

I'm not sure how this could have been made any easier...plus I learned a few things.

I agree with everything Geezer stated above. I too, scored a 95 and 100 on the online tests. I just received my grade for the final - 90. mapalo's wrote on 11/03, that you have to know the material. I also agree with that statement. Most of the questions were free response / essay type. Lastly, I still haven't figured out why the $20 proctor fee exists. It goes to PF, but the proctors are most likely from somewhere else; a co-worker proctored mine. What are the odds of them sending me a $20 cashier's check so that I can compensate him for his time? Maybe the check's in the mail.

I wish I'd known about this earlier, too.

I ended up taking an Information Literacy course through Mira Costa College in Oceanside, CA-- which required a number of trips to the library at nights and on weekends. All in all, I probably spent about six to eight days on the course.

The gas and food expenses may have brought it close to what we would have spent at Excelsior, but I learned a lot and liked visiting the area.

PFC will be sending a check for $15 directly to your proctor (assuming that you only took the final exam for just one course).

If your final proctored exam incorporated more than one course, your proctor would receive the full $20.

    Hope that helps,

The time allotted is thirty minutes, with a ten minute break if needed. Thirty to forty minutes should be enough if you know the material, and can put your thoughts to paper at decent clip.
