Just received that beautiful big brown envelope from DSST. Passed statistics with a 64! I am SO glad to have this one done.
There were 90 problems on the version I sat. Of those 19 dealt with probability. This should be good news for all of you who find the probability type questions the easiest. There were four problems that dealt with leaf and stem or box plots. There were three problems that dealt with significance levels and six that understanding the null hypothesis was very helpful if not necessary. There were two questions that if you did not know the difference between a sample mean and a population mean you could get the wrong answer because both answers were included in the choices. There wasn't any question on my calculator which is a BAII-plus. But just in case there might have been by the time I was ready to actually sit the exam, I made sure that I memorized the main formulas, and following previous advice, I wrote them on my scrap paper as soon as I went in. That turned out to be helpful for focus even though I didn't need to use them for more than a few problems. One formula that I wish I had memorized was the one for figuring out sample sizes. I thought that I had it down pat but totally spaced on how to figure it out once I was there. There were three questions that I needed to know it for and I'm sure that I missed all three. Part of the stress of studying for this one for me was the lack of practice tests. The Dummies workbook was a real help for me to build some confidence. I think that everything else that I could share has already been mentioned. Follow the Fact Sheet from DSST, the advice in the specific feedback thread and know everything in the flashcards and you should do very well.

Terrific! I've been waiting to hear how you did. Feels good, huh? It sounds like you had the same test I did. There was another poster (don't recall the name off the top of my head) that recently passed and left feedback--and their test sounded a lot like the one I WISH I had. Nonetheless, it's all ancient history for us now. Congratulations!!!!!!
