Can someone tell me what, and when, one needs to do to prepare for graduation from Excelsior? I'm not finished yet as I have Ops Mgmt and Business Policy to finish after the current Business Stats course. I'm just looking ahead (finally!) and want to get things in line. I guess I could ask an advisor at the school, but I thought I'd raise the question here so everyone knows the process.

Are you currently enrolled at Excelsior? I wanted to make sure because you still have the business policy course to take. If you are not enrolled at Excelsior then you have take their business strategy course. If you are enrolled, you can take TESC or CSU, as long as you do it before September 1, 2008.

When should I apply for graduation? Are there particular cut off dates for graduation?

I can't remeber where I found the dates, but here is a quick recap.
If you complete all of your requirements and all transcripts are received by: Nov 23rd - then your conferral date is Jan 18th. if received by Dec 21 - then conferral date is Feb 15, 2008 if received by Jan 25th - then conferral date is March 21, 2008 if received by Feb 22 - then conferral date April 18, 2008 It goes on like that.... Since I'm taking the TECEP tests in early November and am trying to meet the Nov 23rd deadline so I can start my Masters in January, I asked if the Nov 23rd date was a drop dead date, and Sandy said that exceptions are sometimes made up to a week after the cutoff date. Hope this helps...
