I'm not sure in what order to pursue "Principles of Finance" & "Money and Banking." Should I get through Principals of Finance first? I've read "Money and Banking" is not among the easier DSSTs. Is it harder or easier than CLEP Principles of Accounting?

If it hasn't been that long since you took CLEP Principles of Accounting, then I would recommend you take Principles of Finance next. As for Money & Banking, others have recommended that you take Macroeconomics and Microeconomics right before you take M&B, and since you need both of those for the Finance degree, that might be a good idea for you as well. I haven't personally taken M&B or Prin of Acct, but from what I have read in the forum, it appears that M&B seems to be harder than Prin of Acct. I could be wrong though...wouldn't be the first time! Hope that helps somewhat, JoAnne ![]() |

I took Macro and Micro courses in 2005/2006 respectively, got a B on both of them. Took "Principles of Accounting" the week it was discontinued. I guess I'll work on "Principles of Finance" while working on a college algebra course. Just couldn't get myself to learn enough on my own for the CLEP College Algebra exam.
