Ok, for those of you who think you need a class- call TODAY to your local community or junior college. We have 2 here, and both offer a winter class option. At both schools it is 10 days long. One calls it winterum, the other calls it minisemester. Anyway, it is a longer class period (4-8pm for example) but only 10 DAYS!! If I had to do statistics I would jump on it. Between both of my colleges here, there are over 50 class choices (a few online by the way- so if you are interested I have included the links). So, if you want to do a short class to kick start your funk, give your LOCAL school a try!

Scott Community College, Bettendorf, IA EICCD - Eastern Iowa Community College District
Black Hawk College, Moline, IL Black Hawk College! (registration opens tomorrow)

I'd say,,, unwind. buy yourself a fresh cup of orange juice, wake up early in the morning,,, and drink your juice sitting on a swing. Listen to the birds...

.... relax your heart beat. relax your stressed out self. do that for like a week...and in the meantime...

,,you have to empower yourself by empowering your thoughts and your mind.
as our beloved Oprah Says "you never give up your power'.

... that means,, YOu say "Fine. I had these thoughts of WALL... but now, I am going to change my thinking, and let that idea go,,,, and Think,, Time to Start Again. I've taken my break. but Time is now. Remeber the reasons you wanted to get all this crap done anyways. Hunny. You are So almost there... if you need a math tutor or whatever check out Kasamba – Expert Advice Online

Use your mind, Manipulate your thinking. YOu Are Power. USE IT. hey lyrics to that song 'go insane' by fleetwood mac

"two kinds of people in this world
    winners, losers
I lost my power in this world
cuz I did not use it"....

and hunny, if all else fails.. join the community college, sign up for college algebra. its not as scary as it sounds. have a teacher.. have classmates, enjoy new friends, enjoy a new experience.. no one ever said,, you have to do it all by yourself.

there is support and love. Your gorgeous. stay strong. ..
and if timing is really bad still to go to school at night or whatever.. fine.. skip algebra and keep going. Your Time will come,, when you are ready. don't rush yourself. You've done Great. You Get BIGGGGGGGGGGG hugs from Everyone!...

may allllllllllll the lovvvvvvvvvvve in the universe envelop you right now

I've been thru this many times along the road. In fact, I seem to be in a rut again with Penn Foster Business Statistics. I've dreaded this course all along and put it off until 3rd from last. I'm 2/3 of the way done with just the proctored final remaining and seem to have lost interest and confidence. To get moving again, I've put a "reward" in place for myself when I finish the course. I've always wanted a Martin acoustic guitar, and although it was supposed to be my "reward" for finishing my bachelor's, I'm moving it up to mark the successful completion of statistics. Maybe that will get me motivated again. I'll just have to come up with another "reward" for finishing my degree!

If you are at Excelsior College, they will accept the "Technical Math" from Penn Foster College as a college level algebra course.

It is an independent study, self paced course that you do at home on your time frame. They send you a packet with a calculator and the materials and you do the studying from there and the exams online. The final is proctored and I believe the entire class is maybe $150. I am awaiting its arrival right now.

If you are nto at Excelsior, perhapos your college will accept it also. It is ACE reviewed which means that most schools accept it as a legitimate college level class. Search "Penn Foster" in the forums to find their contact info.

    Have fun

I hit the same brick wall you did. Now I hang my BS\CIS diploma with the Magna Cum laude gold seal on it. And I still havn't got tired of looking at it. And statistics will point out you will succed if you stick with it.
