    Has anyone every used bookrenters and what are you thoughts especially for very expensive book?

    No, I've never tried that site before. I like Amazon.... As for the expensive books... Haven't had to go there yet -- but if I do -- I think I'll try Amazon and then re-sell the book at one of those "get money for college textbooks" places.

    Best deal I've found is purchasing from half.com, then selling back to Barnes and Noble, offering for sell back a few weeks before the semester ends to beat the rush. This gives you a week to box them up and get them in.
