Just finished Intro. to Educational Psychology CLEP yesterday, got a 63 with less that 10 hours study. On a scale of 1 - 10, being easiest and 10 being hardest, this exam was a 3 for me. I would put it in the same difficulty level as Psychology CLEP, or World Religions DANTES.
This is only one of two exams which I did not use IC for and instead relied on Wikipedia and Peterson exams. If I had to do this one over again I would focus my studies more on the understanding of specific teaching styles, and appropriate ways to deal with students. Also statistics and conditioning were figured quite heavily in the exam. It definately helped that I had already taken Psych and Stats before this test. Simply knowing these too subjects helped me with about 40% of the exam. Know the following: Piaget Vgotsky Operant Conditioning Classical Conditioning Personal Fables Negative Reinforcement Positive Reinforcement Extinction Proximal Zones Gardner's Intelligence Mean Standard Deviation Wait times Internal Stable factors vs. external stable, vs. internal unstable, vs. external unstable, etc. Last edited by gratisair : 11-16-2007 at 07:49 AM. |
