Thanks to Shotojuku for pointing me to this forum, might be exactly what I need.
I have a few questions. If I'm non-military, can I qualify for DANTES? Can I take the CLEP and other tests BEFORE signing up with Excelsior? Someone mentioned Certifications will transfer, but I could not find anything on their site, can that be confirmed? I reposted from a different forum in quotes some more information. Quote:
Thanks for taking the time to read this |

Yes to the first two questions.
Here is the Excelsior link that shows credit for certifications. https://www.excelsior.edu/portal/pag..._schema=PORTAL Excelsior offers both seperate IT/Technology and Business degrees as well as a Business MIS degree. With credit for your certs, you are already well on your way.

Interesting,
I wonder if I could possibly get more credit because I got my NT4 MCSE and then got my 2000 MCSE seperately meaning additional testing. I will call Excelsior tomorrow as it looks like they accept Comptia as well, though I did not see CIW. I wonder which program I'll be closest to completing with my transfer credits, etc. |
