Default How long of a wait for TECEP test results?

I just received my passing grade for my Financial Mgmt course at Penn Foster (thanks for the tip jec959), and am waiting for the results of my FINAL TWO tests...hopefully

Both tests are TECEP's that I took last week. For those who have actually tested out of the TECEP's.....How long should I be prepared to wait for the test results? Are they sent via snail mail or via email?

....and can someone please tell me why I didn't just take the Ops Mgmt course from CSU, like all you other smart people?

    Because you are a rebel.

Just kidding....I am sure you did fine. Just hang in there...focus on something else ... like maybe Christmas shopping... You will have the results before you know it.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Score will come in the mail..... uuuhhh... time frame.... I don't remember. I'd say no more than a month. You MIGHT try checking up on your credits on-line through the TE website. I'm sure you did GREAT!!!!

    Geezer,

If you pass the TECEP exam, then it is obvious that you chose not to take the CSU course because you are a wise man. If you fail the TECEP exam, then it is obvious that you chose not to take the CSU course because you are a foolish man.

Having said that, maybe you are a foolish man who made a wise decision. Or perhaps you are a wise man who made a foolish decision.

Either way, I am sure you did great on the exam. If not, you can always take the CSU course anyway.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ya,

Thanks guys. I guess I sound like the 9 year old on the family trip...Are we there yet?

True to form, I called TECEP testing to make sure that they had received my results and to get a time frame for when I could expect the results. She replied that they have a new system and that she can't determine whether they have my test, and they can't access my file to get any additional information. She said she'd talk to her supervisor and get back to me. That was yesterday at 10:00AM. Nothing yet. I don't bring this up to whine, but to let you know that you really have to follow up with TECEP testing. I've had to follow up with them every step of the way, from verifying payment, verifying shipment of the test to the proctor (they hadn't until I called) and now verifying receipt of the test and grading. They have been extremely courteous and I've been very polite with them, but you definately need to stay on top of each step.

hhhmmm... it's weird how some students seem to have trouble with TE, and some don't. I think they have things on the ball - it just takes them awhile to DO things.... and in the mean time we start to worry.... Whatever. For the cost, I think I'm getting a deal.

Your school spirit is admirable. I'm sure you are getting a great deal. TESC is a wonderful school. I have nothing against TESC. If I hadn't called to find out when they sent my TECEP exam to my proctor, I'd still be waiting for it. It is obvious that no matter what school you enroll in, you have to stay on top of things. You can sit and hope that things are handled properly, or you can call and verify that things are getting handled properly. When I enrolled in Excelsior, I was told that I'd have to wait 4-6 weeks for my evaluation. I politely told the nice lady that was unacceptable and asked if she would please push through my evaluation. She said her hands were tied. The next day I had my official evaluation.

I see no reason to sit and wait, when a polite phone call can speed up the process.

OK, I just talked to the TECEP testing center. They did receive my tests.
The multiple choice test will take 1-2 weeks to grade and mail results. Any test that has essay questions will take 2-4 weeks to grade and mail results.

She said most times all tests are graded and mailed within 2 weeks. Go TESC!!!
