I worked my way through the 5 modules yesterday morning and took the final exam 53 minutes later...scored a 98!
I wish there was a silver lining...the A would definitely help my GPA, especially since I pulled so many Cs on my ECE exams. Well at least I'm finished with Info Lit. Thx for the inspiration. ICS Status: Awaiting scores for two exams, then just two ECE exams and one English WER from TESC to go!

I just paid my "tribute" of $290 today. Ouch. So this is what Legalized Extortion feels like. When did the price go up from $250?
I plan on breezing through this "class" after the kids go to bed tonight.

It was only $250 via military tuition assistance. Good luck. ICS

I think I'm saving this exam for after I finish my 8 tests. I'll probably videotape the moment I submit the final exam, get my results, and officially earn my Bachelors.

But then, I started out reading the material. Then I realized it was so basic, what was I doing reading it all so conscientiously?
When EC asked for feedback on the course, I tried not to sound too snide when I said they should consider offering a test-out option. I understand why they require students to know that stuff, as it is extremely important for an independent learner, but. . . .

I just signed up for PFC's Info Lit course. It's only $90 w/all materials included. It's two test, both non-proctored. EC accepts the course for the IL requirement. Might want to check and see if you can drop the EC course and get this one to save $210. As an additional benefit, you'll get a letter grade. |

Well I just finished this one yesterday Jan5, took me a couple of hours to go through all the material and quizzes from start to finish. Got a 98 on the final so there is nothing between me and that BS!
The Penn Foster option would have saved me money for sure (if I had considered it earlier, that is), but I'm glad to finally just get it out of the way before my enrolment fee's renewal date!

In search of a little clarification.
I've heard on this forum that the PFC Information Literacy has to be proctored? Have they changed it so now it can be non-proctored?
