    Question DSST Practice Tests?

Does anybody have experience with the practice tests offered by Prometric? I was wondering if they are a good gauge of progress or if they are harder than the actual test like the peterson's. Thanks

You know I forgot about those.

I've yet to take any however I wonder if the tests are similar to (or exactly like) the practice exams offered here?

    Default Another Thought?

Could be, one thing I noticed was on my website it was Thomson Prometric and on yours it was Thomson Peterson. Is Peterson separate or are they a subset of Thomson? Would be interesting because Peterson's practice exams are reputed to be much harder than the actual test.

Default dsst practice test- Org Beh

I've been running in circles to find this Org beh practice test through Prometric. They've shown the price, I've made an account, and it ends at the screen after I select "take a practice test". Anyone have info to add? I will find the answer and post at a later date if the mystery isn't solved by then. Otherwise, it's off to take an Org Beh exam first thing in the morning . Thanks all!

I did not know that there isn't an online practice exam for every dsst offered.

    Default Air Force Practice Tests

Does anyone know the activation code for the Peterson practice tests? It's the Air Force DSST practice tests. Someone gave them out before but I can't seem to find the info now.

    Thanks

I took a World Religions practice test a few weeks ago through the Prometric website you identified above - it was $20 for 1 practice test (versus 3 practice tests from CLEP for the same price), 24 hours of access only (versus 90 days for CLEPS that are also available for free thru my local library), and had only 50 questions (versus 3 full sets of questions for CLEPs)! I'm am ambivalent as to whether it was helpful. It was my first DSST test and I wanted to see the format of the test and the way they worded the questions. So I guess it was helpful in that regard. Unless I was really extremely unsure of how a test is setup (tests with calculations for example), I will not spend $20 again for this.

If you are in the military and can do them for free, then I'd say it is worth it! Otherwise, unless you can get access to one of the few DSST tests often available through a local library account for free I would not bother to spend $20 again for so few practice questions.
