    Hi Redmuse,

There are a couple of problems I see with it.

Firstly, all those exams added together equal 15 credits, not 18. College Maths is worth six credits, and all the others are worth three credits each.

Secondly, Excelsior stipulates that they will accept no more than three mathematics courses below the level of Calculus. College Maths is the equivalent of TWO semester-long courses, and each of the other exams are the equivalent of one semester-long course.

Were you to take all of the above mentioned exams, you would have taken the equivalent of FOUR courses below the level of Calculus. As a result, I am pretty sure that Excelsior would only allow you to use twelve of the fifteen math credits earned.

I would assume that they would award you credits for the highest math levels attained first, and then work their way downwards. Thus, you would probably get three credits for Calculus, three for Precalculus, three for College Algebra, and then three of the six credits you actually earned for passing College Math.

Having said that, I would recommend that you obtain a definitive answer directly from Excelsior. It is possible that they might allow you to count College Math as ONE COURSE rather than two (even though it is worth six credits). But somehow, I highly doubt that.

    Hope that helps,
