Default What test to study 1st?

Here is the deal I have 13.68 lower division credits remaining and of that I need 3 humanities and the rest are electives. I am looking at the 6 credit clep and human growth in development. Which one is the easiest to study for and if you have taken one or both was IC the only thing you used and how long did you study for. I am somewhat familiar with the questions in the humanity flash cards.

    Hi Steve,

    Welcome to the board.

If you enjoy music, art, and literature; and you are already familiar with many of the Humanities questions; CLEP Humanities may be a good choice for you. The exam is not to be taken lightly though, because it covers a hugely broad area and requires a lot of general knowledge (or serious study).

It is pass/fail. If you know ALL of Instantcert before sitting the exam, you should do fine. Do addititional web searches to find lists of painter, composers, architects, poets, authors, playwrights etc....AND their works.

Immerse yourself in this material, and you can pass the Humanities exa with relative ease.

Another option for 6 Humanities credits, is the Analayzing & Interpreting Literature exam. If you are good at English and can read and interpret passages of literature, poems etc., this exam can be more or less taken "cold". Just polish up on a few of the basic Literary terms and then go and take the exam. Again, this exam is pass/fail and very passable.

If you take, and pass, both of those exams you will have earned 12 of your needed 13.68 credits. One additional exam will take you over the edge!

    Good luck,
    Snazzlefrag
