    Default Principles of Microeconomics...

I am finally scheduled to take my test this Friday. I have studied Instacert, some of the book, and the College Board CLEP practice test. Any last thoughts? I failed Principles of Macroeconomics, so I am little nervous, but hoping I will pass anyway. Any last minute suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Janet

Micro is certainly harder than Macro as a subject and a test. I would take a look at this thread and make sure you know the terms and material people suggest there. I always look at the exam specific threads and I can't tell you how many times questions came up that I would have not studdied the material if it wasn't for those posts. Also I would suggest taking the Petersons practice test and if you score better than a 60 or 70% you should be good to pass. Good luck on Friday!

Yeah - go ahead and take the Peterson's tests. For ME -- approx. 50% correct means I'll pass. If you don't get that on the Peterson's - don't be afraid to reschedule the test. (I've done that before!) Sometimes it takes things a little longer to sink in..... Best wishes!! You CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!

    LINK TO CLEP TESTS

It is on the right hand column near middle of the list at the bottom of the page.

    Default Thanks...

I found it...that is not the link that was given to me before....before seeing your answer, I typed Peterson's Test in Google and was redirected to the Peterson's website. I went ahead and downloaded (and paid) for the three tests that are on the link you just gave to me. It was $20 but well worth it if I pass the tomorrow. I got 50% on one test and a 56% on the third. I kind of bombed the first one 18% (but I was trying to take it at work and the concentration level was totally different than at home). With those numbers, do you suggest I go ahead and take my test as scheduled tomorrow. I have also been studying the College Board CLEP sample test. Thoughts?

Thank you for all of the help and encouragement!

    Janet

If you are scoring above 50% just make sure you are going back and reading over the explanations to the ones you got wrong. It doesn't hurt to read over the explanations of the ones you got right either, sometimes there are useful bits of knowledge in there.

A pass is a pass so I say go for it. You can do it. Just be positive and expect yourself to pass. Good luck!

    Default Passed!

I took my Principles of Microeconomics exam yesterday and got a 52! Good enough for me...and I will try that code. I have to retake Macro (I failed the first time) and I am starting Organizational Behavior tomorrow!
