I go to Borders for all of my CLEP needs. Between the borders rewards (I shop there a lot) and their sales, I usually get a good deal. Of course, I don't order online (my sister does, though). I use a countdown clock that I got for free somewhere to test myself while I take practice exams at home. I would rather get a review and 3 practice tests for 20 bucks than just 3 practice tests online for 90 days for 20 bucks. Plus, when I'm done with the CLEP book, I can pass it on to my sibling. We trade our CLEP books in the mail.

(If you don't have a sibling interested in testing out, you can always trade with another student)

However, you should always do what works for you. I always do well with one particular clep guide while others do well with another specific type of clep guide. Go with what works.
