I just took the Dantes Statistics test on Saturday (and passed ). Anyway, I wanted to warn you guys about my experience. When I got to the college, I had to wait almost 40 minutes because they said they were having problems with their computers. Not a problem, it gave me a few more minutes to study. Anyway, they called me back and assigned me to a computer. I signed in to the DSST site, my information came up and then the proctor had to sign in. This then brought us to another screen. All I know was it gave another name for the person taking the test, NOT ME . I notified the proctor right away, and we backed out of it, and started over. The second time, it had my name right. Had I not noticed, I'm not sure what would of happened. All I know is I used my sign on, my name came up just fine... the proctor did her thing and her thing worked fine, then bam, another name shows up.... I don't know if I would of not gotten credit applied to me or what. Anyway, just be very aware when you are signing in to these test and make sure it's your name that comes up twice.
