    Default Testing Suspended???

Has anyone else heard of this? I got a call from my test center today saying that all military dantes testing (CLEP, DSST, ECE) has been suspended indefinitely? I am pretty upset because I was scheduled to take Abnormal Psychology ECE tomorrow and have been studying for 4 weeks to prepare for the test. I know there are a lot of military test takers on here and I hadn't seen anything about it so I figured I would ask. Thanks.

This is according to our local Naval education officer:

All ECE testing has been suspended. All education officers are required to inventory their tests and send a report to Excelsior. All education offices that are onboard ships are required to inventory their tests, "and" send the tests back to Excelsior. According to the Email she received, this is because they have had a testing breach. (aka, someone grabbed some tests?)

She thinks that they're pretty sure it happened on ship, hence the recall of all tests on ships but not on educational offices.

Also, CLEP/DANTES weren't affected according to the Email she received. International and Professional Prometric sites were still allowed to conduct CLEP/DANTES. Unfortunately, it seems ECE's are out of the picture for a bit.

Edit: Forgot to mention, this also includes GRE/GMAT/SAT/ACT ect. Pretty much everything but the DANTES/CLEPS

I heard of this one too. Sucks for EC guys but I'm pretty sure TESC will probably follow suit

Do we know anything more on this yet? There doesn't seem to be anything on EC's website in the 'exam' section. Chebasaz, can you (or did you) find out if this is affecting military instalations only?

I'll shoot her an Email when she gets back from lunch and see if I can find out for you.

Default Only applies to U.S. Navy

I just got off the phone with Excelsior. The testing suspension applies ONLY TO THE NAVY. I'm in the Army at Fort Hood, Texas. Excelsior says I'm definitely NOT affected. Just FYI for those still concerned about this.
