Default Getting back on the wagon

After 9 months of a self-imposed hiatus, it's time to start busting these tests out again. Back in June of last year, I failed the DSST Drug and Alcohol by one point and felt rather dejected. I was on a roll until that darn test and it derailed me.

It's hard to believe that 9 months have flown by since then but I'm ready to begin again. I have Drug and Alcohol scheduled for this Thursday and I'm going to take the subject matter a little more seriously. I have 8 tests total left to take and then I'm DONE. Hopefully I can wrap it up by the end of April or mid-May.

Yeah, I can't believe I let it go for 9 months. Every month I kept telling myself, "Alright I'll get back on track this month". Never happened until now.

Plus, I don't want to pay Excelsior's Student Service Renewal Fee at the end of May! I'd rather use that money towards my graduation fee!

    Default Good luck

It's funny how time gets away huh? The good news is after you pass this test the renewed momentum will help to propel you through the other tests. If there's a silver lining it's that you've already seen the test. Since you know what to expect I'm sure you've ramped up your efforts. Congrats getting back on the wagon- now kick them ponies in gear and head on over to graduation nation. ...It's a little county 8 tests over. Good luck!

I slumped for a few weeks after failing DSST College Algebra. I've never taken a failed test so hard in my life-- and I've failed some computer vendor certification exams I had a tight schedule to finish!

I also hit some rough spots after some family issues where I lost a couple weeks of study.

Then there was a job change plus a move to another county-- that shot three months' time on my Algebra class that I only had nine months to finish.

I'm still at it, though. Hopefully I'll finish sometime this year!

Finally got this monkey off my back!

Passed Drug and Alcohol today with a 54 (A).

I finished a 6-month project at work and now have time to blow these tests out.

Next up.....Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union (July 11th)
