Greetings

I just received my first Excelsior College status report today and had a question about GPA. I’d call the school, but they close early on Tuesdays.

Anyway, my report reflects two GPAs, one says EVAL GPA and the other at the bottom of the report says OVERALL GPA. I would assume that the EVAL GPA is the one for my degree and the OVERALL GPA is based upon all of my 240+ accumulated credits. Anyway, the OVERALL GPA is much higher than the EVAL GPA. I’ll call them in the morning to get the answer, but thought one of you might already know the answer.

As you can see I am near the end of my road. I ordered my DSST MIS, Org Behav and Drugs and Alcohol transcripts to be sent to Excelsior last week (A’s on all). I took Abnormal Psychology last week, Foundations of Gerontology today, and will finish with TESC English Composition TECEP Exam this Thursday.

I appreciate whatever information on GPA you can provide.
