I just took the Peterson's Principles of Management test and scored a 61. What is the probability of me passing the real CLEP exam. I have that one and the Principles of Marketing this Thursday. Please wish me luck, as I need to pass both of those, and at least one of the Educational Psychology and Business Law to graduate this summer with my bs in English. I would really appreciate you all's help. I have just been using the IC to study. Is this enough. I took both the Management and Marketing test about a year ago, and I failed with a 51 on both. And I had no previous knowledge of the courses. One more point and I would have passed. So, I am hoping that with a little bit of studying this time around, things will go my way. So if you all could tell me if a 61 in the Petertson's is sufficient to pass, I would be much obliged. Thanks to you all for giving me a little more motivation.

I think the Peterson's score translate differently for everybody.
I would say if you know the IC material on Management you will do very well. I don't recall any questions that were not touched on somewhere in those flashcards. Best of luck.

I don't think anyone can tell you with any degree of certainty if a 61 on one practice test is sufficient, but I can tell you that if you have spent at least some time studying, and you focus on studying for your exams for the next three days you should be able to pass. Most people who have prepared do not find either exam particularly challenging. Just put your nose to the grindstone and make it happen. Good luck.

It's cuz I heard that a 70 was almost guaranteed a pass, so I thought that a 60 would at least be a D. Just wanted to see if anyone had any previous experience with this. Thanks for your help. I have 3 more days to study. Hopefully all will go well. My dream to graduate in summer is still alive. Thursday will tell if it still lives or is shot down.

thanks farmer boy. That gives me a little more confidence. As a rule of thumb, how long is the usual study time that you all recommend for cleps. Any recommnedations from people who have taken management and marketing. Any one remember the questions, ha ha?

I studied for management for about two weeks and marketing one day. However, every person studies at a different rate. Some people here could have taken these tests faster than me, others maybe not quite so fast. After you take a couple you should be able to decie what pace is best for you.
Hope this helps. Farmerboy

Don't forget to tell us how it goes. I am planning on taking Principles of Management & Principles of Supervision on the 14th. I was suprised to see your post right after I scored a 66 on Management and a 75 on Supervision. What really suprised me was that those were my first practice tests, and I have barely even studied IC yet. I quess I knew more than I thought!
