Default 9 credits in 48 hours

Okay...once I realized that I needed to take Principles of Management for the management requirement at EC and that the Supervision (DSST) test that I had already taken is only going to count as an elective, I took Management (CLEP) on Saturday with 2 hours of Prep and knocked that one out.

Then I decided to study all day Saturday with only Instacert and the CLEP Guide and I just came back from finishing Info Systems and Computer Applications (CLEP) and Introduction to Computing (DSST). 2 birds, one stone. That makes a nice couple of days.

I have to say that I never imagined that I could get my degree this way. This forum and material from Instacert has been incredible. I have finished 8 exams in 5 weeks and it looks like I may be done by the end of the summer. Thank you all, this forum has been inspiring and instrumental for me.

Wow, that's impressive. I'm waiting for my evaluation but I should have no more than 40 credits left to take. Posts like this make me feel that it's not impossible to finish before the end of the year.

Yeah it is amazing isn't it? I love taking exams and walking out of the testing center (My local CC) knowing I just finished 1/2 to 3/4 of a semester in a few hours when all those other students in the building just sat through one class period.

The best was taking A&I Lit and American Gov back to back and earning 9 hours in an hour and forty five minuets.

I couldn't agree more. Generally my tests coincided with pretty nice weather and a day off of work--and the campus I took them on was beautiful. I would always think about how that compared to my horrific first experience at a community college trying to get through a class with 200 people in a lecture hall listening to a teacher whose accent was so thick it was almost impossible to understand him. I think my favorite part of testing out has been my time at the testing campus and the feeling of walking away with college credit.

The most I have ever done was College Algebra and Freshman College Composition in a little over two hours, and U.S. History I and A&I Lit in maybe an hour and a half. It felt very nice to walk out with nine credits.
