Clearly the B&M college experience has nothing to do with going to class. She does seem to have the paying too much for books you aren't going to use thing down though.

Is your mom into toga parties and drinking cheap beer through a tube while two drunken jocks, chanting "chug, chug, chug", hold her upside down by her ankles? Rather than spending all that extra money and wasting all that extra time going through the B&M college experience, she could just go to Spring Break for a week down in Daytona Beach. She can get the whole "college experience" out of her system and then perhaps be ready to settle down and pass a few CLEPs. ![]() Just teasing, Snazzlefrag

Awesome!!! I wish we had PC-based tests. Every test I have taken was paper-based and had to wait weeks for results.
Again, great job. ICS

She says she wants to take the class at the community college because she wants the "college experience"!!!! Whatever that means!![/quote]
>> That's cool, my classes have had a few folks like that too. I think people assume college is this really grand educational profound place where one receives knowledge. She probably feels like she missed something when she was younger. In any event, let her get it out of her system. It'll probably take exactly the length of time it takes you to get YOUR degree This isn't the end- people will start to wonder- to ask questions- to judge you....oh it's going to happen.....do you really think your learning anything by....ttttt testing??? What are you thinking????So, next time you mom tells you you should get the experience (politely) let her know you'd rather get the degree. ![]()
