    Default which one is easier?

I am trying to speed up from a test every 3 weeks, to a test every 2 weeks. My next 2 are going to be principles marketing or princliples of management. Which one is easiest? Would a week be enough time to prepare for one? I am a 40 year old man that has been in the workforce(and school) for a while so will some of it be common sense?

Also, I haven't taken a math course of any kind in 22 years, How much study time would clollege math take? I took Int. Algebra 22 years ago but still need another math and my school said this clep would be enough.

Thanks in advance for your advice. This forum has helped me a lot. I wish I had known about it before my 49 on Microecom\nomics, maybe I would have nother class down right now.

    Cool Principles of Management

    Hello DC67....

I am also studying to take the Principles of Management CLEP. I would like to be able to take this CLEP on Tuesday, April 8th. I just started studying today.

I plan on going through all of the IC questions along with reading Barron's Review Management book. What I would love is to be able to get my hands on some Management Lectures. Does anyone on this forum know where I can view some Management Lecture Videos?

Thanks everyone for your continued support.

    From a loyal degree seeker,

    Marshall

I like to use videos too but never found any. Seriously though IC can be enough for this one but I also used the REA & COMEX books too - GOOD LUCK!!

    Default Gauge yourself

Try this: see if you can allocate a practice exam of sorts and just take it cold. This will give you a starting point and act as a gauge of sorts. As far as math, grab a book and see how much you remember (or) don't then plan from there. As always, the forums are gold. Good luck.

If you are able to devote 2-3 hours of GOOD study time per day for a week, I believe you could pass those two tests. It's always tough to give people you don't know from Adam advice on questions like this, but I base my answer on the following rationale:

    1. I know others who are similarly situated have done it--some without any study at all
    2. I did not find the exams particularly challenging, and it appears that perception is in the majority.

    Go for it--and good luck!

I haven't taken either one of these exams but I heard from the grapevine that they are fairly easy. I would give the practice exams a shot first and then take the real thing. Good Luck!

Thanks for all of the advice so far. I don't rally want to take a practice test for the simple fact, I am paying for everything myself. From what I have read before and today, hopefully those 2 will not be to bad. The College Math will take quite a bit of study. I take intro to psych next week, hopefully I cn scratch that one off the list. After that I have 4 more Cleps I can take. I am going to try to CLEP History 2 also. The rest of the classes I need I have to take but any CLEP I pass is one more off the list.

    Any more suggestions are welcomed.

    Thanks again,

    Doug

Default age is a state of mind

Age is a state of mind sometimes we are very young and sometimes very old (unfortunately I am always older than you are by a couple of years). I took 1 week study time per each of these exams and passed them with no issues. Look at the specific exam feedback for each. I found principles of management easier than marketing.
