    Default Flunked And Not By Just Alittle

    Let it be known by all I hate science and it hates me!!!!!!! I will not remain defeated though as I have to be done by June 30th inorder to graduate from TESC in September. I must..I must and there is no if ands or buts about it. Ihave to figure out how to get 3 science credits faster than Haley's comet. I need to get back on track with a vengence. So I need to find a course that TESC will accept and I can pass. Suggestions? I have come to rely on Instantcert to be by security blanket and without it natural science got the better of me. I need a study guide that will prepare for my test and I can confidently feel I will pass. The counselor at TESC suggested DDST'S physical science or geology.Any other ideas or should I go for one of them? I need to get this done by the middle of next week..passed and all. HELP

    Hey Ron -

    First, I'm with you Buddy - I know the feeling and also remember that I shot my old horse and got a newer and better one AND SO CAN YOU!!!!

    Second - YOU LET NO ONE DOWN!!!!

    Third - if you're gonna ride again, sooner than later, then please consider CLEP - Biology using the REA book, the Biology dvd/vhs from www.StandardDeviants.com . It is of course half of what you needed for NS -and- SIX CREDITS!!

    If you have somewhat of a grasp on Biology now, even just a little, then give it a good two weeks of study and YOU WILL PASS - but give it time!

    Take care for now, get some rest, and let's both kick ass the next time!!

    Just sorry you missed it, but, on the bright side: you are only 3 credits away from graduation, you can do this. Did you consider taking an online summer class at a local college?

    If you haven't taken College Algebra, I can help you out. I am NOT a star in math, but my college taught a class on line (you never have to go to the college) that was so easy, I couldn't help but pass with an A.

    I think they have a 4 week summer class starting next week or so that is very doable. Let me know if you are interested or need more info.

    Hang in there, you are SOOOO CLOSE!

    Default I know what you feel!!

    Ron, I know what you feel. This is what I was scared of, I need 8 hours SS from Clep or DSST but most of them I have taken at local college, so I thought I may take SS&H, and next week Macroeconomics. Now I know I will be in the same situation if I fail it, I took your advice and postpone it for next week. About DSST I think you don’t have enough time to order the test and have the result posted by that time otherwise I would take 2 of them I heard EC adviser said they don’t want essay part so you don’t run out of time on exam. Keep your courage and keep taking whatever can get you to Graduation date. That’s what I am doing although I have till June 15.

    Ron you are our aspiration, don’t slow down.

    Have you taken the Environment & Humanity DSST? I used it for 3 science credits at Excelsior. It was a very doable test.

    I Have Taken A Nd Passed Here's To Your Health And Environment And Humanity From Dantes...but Alas, My Friends At Tesc Will Not Accept The Here's To Your Health As Anything More Than A Free Elective And Not A Science. I Feel That Is Wrong, But I Can't Get Them To See It That Way.
