    Unhappy dsst civil war

Hi there... I have been reading posts on the civil war and wanting some input on my study material....I plan to take the test on wednesday. My materials include wikipedia, IC, and sparknotes(civil war and reconstruction). How in depth are the questions? I mean will it be enough to know what general was at what battle? Will there be questions on their specific strategy on a particular battle? Also, will I be required to know dates on things? I have a general grasp on the Civil War. Definatly not a detailed understanding. Any feedback is helpful.... thanks

If you know the things that are covered in the exam specific forum, then you will pass.

I just bought the Ken Burns series off of Amazon. I got tired of waiting for them to be in stock at my library. They're always checked out/lost.

I'll probably sell them here in a month or two.

Yes, the test is pretty detailed. I think I'd either watch the Ken Burns series or get yourself a good book on the war. Brush up on the political side of things too, not just the battles.

I couldn't get the Ken Burns series at my local library so I went on Ebay and bought the cheapest set I could find. Had to use VCR tapes, but the series was invaluable to getting an A on the exam.
