Marshall -
Do you feel that only one week of study between exams is enough? Speaking for myself, I always studied a minimum of 3-weeks per exam, but that's just me. I hope you do well - Good Luck!!

It's not written in "stone" per se, but I believe I can do it. Failure is not an option for me!!! I am so pumped on having an ASBA in December... I can't wait. I really want to speed up the process a little because I would love to get my BSBA from TESC in March and in order to do that I need to have everything turned in by January 1, 2009.
This would be a dream come true for me. I have held back my potential for way too long and it is now time for me to spread my wings and be the man that God intended for me to be. The only person that was stopping me in the past was me. I realized, just by taking the 2 CLEPS I've done up to this point, what I can do when I truly put my mine into accomplishing something. That's why I am so in love with this forum. I am on here religiously. Even if I don't post something I'm always reading others posts to see what's going on with everybody else. It keeps me grounded and motivated. I love to see so many people setting out to do what I'm trying to do. And to have people to look up to (such as yourself...Mr. 3 Degrees!) that have not just talked about it...but have actually done it. That means if you guys can do it then I can too gosh darnitt!!! YES I CAN!!! And I will let nothing deter me from my goal. As my grandmother use to say, "Come Hell or High Water...nothing will stand in my way." I would like to tell you again how proud of you I am and so many others on this site. This is like the support group I've always wanted. The only thing that makes me sad about IC and this forum is that I wish I had found this maybe 6 years ago. It would be no telling where I'd be in my Life right now. But hey...everything happens for a reason. Like always ole' pal....it's always a pleasure to hear from you. Chat with ya later. P.S: Did you see my picture change? I've been "KNIGHTED" by the IC EDUCATIONAL GODS!!!!!!! From a loyal degree seeker, Marshall

You can do it Marshall. I took 1 week for principles of management and principles of marketing and passed them both. I am taking us history 2 and intro to business in 3 weeks but that was because of scheduling, or I would have taken intro to business in 1 week also. I am debating college algebra but it will take a whole lot of study for that one. When I knock out the next 2 I will be finished with CLEP's pending the college algebra. My other classes all have to be taken. I am looking back into Excelsior so that maybe I can just continue this clep train I am on but my shortest distance class wise, is where I am at. 12 classes to go(hopefully 3 of them clep's) and then a BAchelors degree hopefully by fall 2010. I will be 43 by then, sure wish I had listened to my parents years ago............
Good luck, Doug |

This is just a thought, but since you are going after a BSBA I would suggest taking Introductory Psychology around the same time you take Sociology (I took them on the same day). TESC requires you to have six social science credits for a BSBA, and I found a lot of overlap between sociology and psychology. I would also suggest taking sociology (and psychology??) before you take marketing. On my version of the marketing exam there were several sociology questions. Looks like you are on a roll keep up the good work! You can do it.

I would suggest swapping #2 & #3 (if you're not preparing much for Eng. Comp.), that should give you some time in parallel to start Business Law in case you fall short on studying for any reason. You may also wish to start in parallel with the Sociology/Accounting combination (I hear sociology is pretty easy).
