Default life experience and work experience essay ?

So, what about work experience credit.
Does anyone have experience with this ?
Has anyone ever received credit for work experience/ life experience?
If so how did you write this essay that these schools request, is there a website you can recommend that I use ?
I was going to write it as a basic essay, but the lady told me they need like a 15 page essay or a 7 page essay for a 3 hour class.
Here is the weird thing, How do i go about knowing how my life experience translates into that courses credit, If i have not taken that class and dont know what they teach ?
    thanks IC members

What school are you, or thinking of being, enrolled in?
