Hi all. I could not find anything that specifically addressed this question, so I would love to get some feedback/insight on this.
If you are working towards a Bachelors at a B&M school using an AA from a different school composed (partially) of some CLEP credits, and the B&M school has a 25% limit on credit-by-exam limit, do the classes you CLEPed for your AA count towards that 25% limit? I know this answer will probably vary depending on the B&M school, but I wanted to know if anyone has any experience or knowledge about this. |

usually yes it will count towards the 25%, since the same credits are used for both degrees, but I would check with your school.

My guess would be no. When transferring an Associates to another school they usually accept the degree as a whole. You would be starting over at the B&M. Just like your GPA from the Associates wouldn't carry over, and those CLEP transcripts weren't sent to the B&M school. That's just my guess though.
