Great job! Awesome score!!! I too have tremendous respect for anyone who fights in a war. No one wins and yet sometimes we have to fight. Otherwise, we'd all be speaking German. What's up next for you? College Math?

Well,
I am going to take the Vietnam DSST tomorrow. I am a little nervous since Instantcert didn't have flashcards, but I looked at the links posted in this thread. I also borrowed a book called Vietnam War Almanac from the library on post. I took the sparknotes quiz and scored very high. Wish me luck. Oh, and thanks in advance for the links and other thoughts on this thread.

Most of it was focused on the political figures than the battles. The Phoenix Program was nowhere on the test. I found that strange. Neither was the Strategic Hamlets.

But they still expect us to know about ALL the various items, just in case they show up on our version. So the multiple-version system allows them to test us on a selection of items whilst, at the same time, forcing us to learn other items even though they may not actually appear on our exam. I suppose that's a good thing. But it can be frustrating when you focus on a certain thing, and then it doesn't even appear on the exam. If nothing else, it keeps us on our toes!
