I am scheduled to take this exam Monday, 7/13. It's also my first ever CLEP test. I was hoping to still study when time allows until mid-August, but I have to take the comp w/essay and since it requires 2-3 weeks turn around and I need to know by August 25th. I've been doing pretty good on the test questions, and I also bought the $10 CLEP Exam Guide (from collegeboard) that I've been doing well on. The only thing that gets me is the Restructuring Sentences "change the sentence to XXX" then choose which answer would be used. Only getting 20-30% right on those. Plan on reviewing a couple hours each day, and touch up on my essay over the weekend. I don't know what score I need, I'm working on a Elementary Education degree with a Library Media endorsement. The college told me they accept the scores, but "the state requires such a very high score, so you may still have to take the class". When I asked what score was required she said "I don't know" which I think is a bunch of mularchy!!
