Is it harder or easier then Western Civilization I? The REA book is smaller but seems like its more densely packed with facts. I do enjoy history though.

I'd say it was easier due to the fact that the information is more current. Take a look at what people wrote in the Specific Exam Feedback section. It has tons of great tips. Hope this helps.
