    Default Information Literacy Waiver

I was able to have the Information Literacy requirement waived at COSC, that's one class I won't have to take. It only took a little grovelling and a marginally crafted document along with my resume. Now if I can only get them to waive the remaining 42 credits...

I was also able to get COSC to waive the Information Literacy requirement. As you said, it was not easy.

I provided them with my resume and my job description along with some URLs with case studies from a few vendors that I’ve done some substantial work with.

    Hi Guys,

I am thinking of writing to Excelsior to see if they will waive the College Algebra requirement for the Business degree. I will, of course, include a crisp brand new $10 bill in the envelope, with the understanding that they will send it back to me if they decide not to accept my waiver request. But if they DO waive College Algebra for me, that $10 bill is theirs to keep, no questions asked.

What do you think? Is it worth a shot?

The alternative is that I send a couple of my boyz over to Albany to bust a few knee-caps. This would cut down on exam costs since I could probably pick up a couple of baseball bats on eBay for less than $30, and I know that my friends, Fat Tony and Dirty Dominic, would be willing to help me out for an additional $20. This option obviously would leave me a full $10 ahead of the game.

Anyway, I'll let you know if I am successful. Also, if you receive a collect call from "Rob, in Attica Correctional Facility", please accept the charges. Okay?

If all else fails, I suppose I COULD just go ahead and take the exam. But that would be the option of LAST RESORT for me.

Thanks! I know I will be able to count on all of you for support and encouragement....and perhaps to pay my bail.

    You are the best,
    Snazzlefrag

$10 might not be enough, heck it will only buy 3 gallons of gas for the administrators huge gas guzzling Hummer payed for with similar requests.
