Default Any words of wisdom for Personal Finance?

I am taking the Personal Finance DSST test on Thursday or Friday. I've studied the new cards on IC, but just wondered if anyone had any additional insight.

    Hey there,

I don't know if you've already taken your test yet, but I'll go ahead and offer my suggestions. Know your employer, employee, tax and other government forms! I read the Peterson's study guide and other materials and none of them covered forms and when I took the test I had roughly 8 questions on forms. I ended up failing the test by 1 question.

    Default Thanks!

Thank you for the input. I work for a CPA, so hopefully the forms won't be too much trouble. However, I am not very strong with insurance and estate stuff.

Actually, I was scheduled to take test today but we received about 10+ inches of snow so I rescheduled for tomorrow. Our roads are still terrible and I have to drive 1 1/2 hours to the testing sight. I am seriously considering cancelling again as the roads were still really bad today....Again, thanks for the input

    Default Haven't taken it yet

Our county was still on a level 3 snow emergency (emergency personnel only) so I didn't make it the 1 1/2 hours to Columbus to take the exam. I am hoping to reschedule sometime this week....Natalie

You should take a moment a view the exam feedback forum area. I completed the test today and did not find it particularly difficult. I generally use more than one source for review however this time only used IC.

    Default Specific feedback

I have reviewed the specific feedback section and was greatful for Couchpotato's insight. I am going to try to schedule the test soon. Thank you for your response. If I can pass Personal Finance, Principles of Supervision and Principles of Management, I will be degree complete and have a Bachelor's in Management through Indiana Wesleyan. I am so looking forward to being finished!!
