Well I took the CW&R DANTES exam last night. No real surprises. I am definitely glad I supplemented IC with the Rudman book, or else I don't think I would have know half the material. All in all, the material on the test was pretty familiar. For those of you who have taken DANTES exams, you know the format can be difficult, mainly the way they word the questions. This is where I feel that the Rudman book definitely added the most value, as it was formatted in the same way.
I feel like I passed. I don't think I set the world on fire, but I'm pretty sure I at least passed, which is fine since my school doesn't transfer these in as a graded credit anyway. I just wanted to add some feedback. So to re-cap: If you're studying for CW&R DANTES exam, use the Rudman book and IC, and maybe supplement both with a general reading of the entire period on Wikipedia and I think you should do fine. If you really want to go in confident, watch the Ken Burns videos (I unfortunely didn't have time to do this). Hope This Helps... |
