Shoto you are just blazing through! It's inspiring. Especially since I know that you have work and family obligations at the same time. Not to mention the volunteer time you put in monitoring and helping us here on this forum. Awesome!

    Default You all rock

I felt kind of behind since alot of my peers had already graduated -- I was in the service (army for 8 years). I love that I found out about bain4weeks.com which of course led me to IC and then to this forum. I am 33 and just finished up my AA so now I am working on my BS from Excelsior but I am definitely going to persue my masters since its paid for if I go the normal route - guess I'll decide more on where I am going to go once I finish up my BS first.

Continuing on is the only way to go though as far as I am concerned. Wishing everyone the best!!

Can you tell us something about your experience as a grad student?

PS: I'm supposed to be studying for my Math final, but decided I'd rather post.

Yes I can tell you something - I'm dizzy!!

Actually this has been an exciting and fast-paced adventure, one that I am both happy to have undertaken and greatly relieved that it's almost over.

At present, I anticipate that I will have completed all of my M.S. degree requirements by early/mid-June and will be FREE at last!!

I will be taking graduate courses as a part of my state's alternate route for teaching. Whatever courses I take will all be accepted by at least two online Master's programs.

I applaud the young folks for getting off to such a goal-directed start of their beyond HS years.

I also am so amazed by the older ones, like me, who are fulfilling their dreams and making things happen.

    Way to go!

Ok, let me ask if I (at 47.7) fit into one of these two age groups?

Unfortunately or happily - your choice - you would fit into my older folks category.

30 years old here. I plan on enrolling in the Harvard extended education program for a certficate in Applied Sciences (Harvard Extension School: Certificate in Applied Sciences) and then using my remaining GI Bill and the transfer of those courses to fullfill an IT degree at another institution (haven't chosen that one yet).
