    Default DSST Update

As you are probably aware, all DSST tests went computerized Oct. 2, 2006.

I just found out that now, instead of no time limit, they all have a two-hour time limit.

But not to fear, I took Business Math (paper version with like 70-80 questions) adn my friend took the computerized version of Business Math adn had only 50-60 questions.

    Just a friendly heads up.

Two hours sounds about right, even for topics like the Civil War and USSR especially since those dreaded number two lead pencil bubbles have been replaced with a mouse click!!

I took Civil War and Criminal Justice on November 18th @ St. John's University in NYC and they are still using the paper-based exams. Hopefully they will go on-line by the time I sit for my next DANTES in January. Do you get your score immediately withe the computerized DANTES?

I called the school where I've been taking my CLEPS. I asked if the Dantes exams scored immediately and he said NO!! You still have to wait 2 weeks or so.

    Silky1,

Where do you take your exams. I also live in the Atlanta area. I have taken about 10 exams total ( Clep and Dantes) all at Georgia State University. Earlier this year they only had about 3 or 4 you could take on the PC, now they have fully converted, all dsst's are taken electronically. I have not taken the electronic version, but I plan to early 1/2007.
