Default Upper Division Finance CLEP or DANTES

Does anyone know of a test that is considered an upper division finance class? I am one short of my degree, and I really dont want to sit through another finance class

Dantes Principles of Finance and Money and Banking are upper level. As always you'd need to confirm with your school that they will count toward your degree.

At Excelsior, the DSST Principles of Finance exam is considered upper level. However, if you already have finance classes, this will probably be duplicate credit. The only other DSST test that has anything to do with finance that is upper-level is Money and Banking. All CLEPS are considered lower-level.

Another option is to take a finance class at LSU Independent Study. They have two upper level finance courses, principles of real estate and business finance.

Principles of Finance DSSt is actually ACE recommended as a lower level Finance course.

Yeah, usually any test with "principles of.." in the title will fall into the lower level category. Charter Oak, where am enrolled, transcribed two of my three upper-level transfered classes as lower level because of this reason. Sucks, but that's the way it is.

    good luck!

According to getcollegecredit.com, Prin of Finance is listed as upper level, whereas Personal Finance is lower level. Are they not going by ACE recommendation?
