Principles Of Finance Passed!!
#1
Passed with a 430! (400 to pass). Boy was I a mess for this test. My mind was cluttered with formulas and equations.
Studied for about 5 days for this one and utilized a very large handful of study resources. I would definitely recommend taking Macro, Micro, Financial Accounting, M&B, and any other finance/economic classes before this one.

So glad to have this out of the way after reading all the feedback, and as far as using the TI BAII Plus Calculator, i walked into the test center with it in my hand and the proctor didn't mention anything about it not being allowed, but i did bring the DSST papers saying it was allowed just in case.

Once again, Specific feedback section was priceless for this exam.

Time to decide my next test for my BSBA!
Possibly Business Law!

Thanks again to everyone who contributes to the specific feedback and to this website in general, it helps immensely!

Way to go! Anything you wish you studied more? Anything like that? (This is my last DSST and keep dreading it).

Business Law was pretty fun! Go get it!

I left a little feedback in the Specific Feedback section, post #78 has an awesome list of resources to use, also snazzlefrags notes from free clep prep.com

I did the first 3 sections of IC, and was not a fan. Its good for some facts and knowledge but it did not explain the formulas very well.

The work "retained earnings" was thrown at me like 5-7 times in random questions, i brain farted and couldn't draw a meaning to what it was.

Investopedia was a great resource.

TI BAII Plus Instructional Videos were priceless, no point in having the calculator if you cant take advantage of all its functions.

Nice work! That was a tough one for me; studied a really long time for it, but I was rewarded with a score of 422.
The BAII Plus played a big part in the test for me as well; I spent quite a bit of time learning how to use it's functions easily.

Congratulations! As hard as it no doubt was, I wish I'd taken it rather than Penn Foster. I much prefer tests.
