CLEP for Teacher Plus 30 - dmatukian - 08-23-2017

Anyone else out there used the CLEP tests to hit their plus 30 teacher requirements? I am going through the tests and looking to start taking on some of the psychology ones. My concern is that some of them have somewhat similar names and a little worried they may decide not to accept one of them.

Anyone else taken these 2 tests and received credit for them?

I teach in NYC btw.

None of the CLEPs duplicate themselves, which is to say that the two you listed are each individual tests. It is possible, however, that they duplicate something you've already taken for your Bachelor's degree. Did you take any classes with a PSY prefix for your BA?

Maybe I should research this myself but since this thread is up does anyone know if you can use CLEP, DSST and ACE approved credits for continuing ed requirements here in TN?

Def check with your State's Dept of Ed for specifics. Googling State name and Clep should get you some results.
