Low Cost Masters that liberally accepts transfer credits other than Amberton
#1
I have 9 credits I want to transfer into a Masters program. 6 credits Supply Chain 3 credits HR. I thought I had found it with Amberton. They accept 12 credits (any) towards their MS Pro Development. Problem is they do not offer financial aid. Any suggestions. Excelsior per credit hr cost to high.

Amberton is $250 per credit I believe. Take a VESI course and you can transfer in another 3 units while saving a few hundred bucks. I don't know if you'll find a better deal for what you're looking for.

Transferring credit at the Masters level is rare and almost always capped at 6 credits. You've already found the only suggestion I would have (Amberton). That or a self paced option like WGU, they won't take the credits...but you can blow through some of the courses quick and make it up that way.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Generally NA schools are more liberal with these courses and will allow up to 50% to be transferred in. Look at Columbia Southern University, their MBA has 12 credits in electives.

I'd need assurances that an NA masters would do what I wanted it to do......never felt it would work for me. YMMV

Thanks for your help. I think I am going to focus on WGU due to the fact you can use financial aid.

Waldorf University. Regionally-accredited, accepts up to 18 transfer credits towards a master's. Will accept nationally-accredited graduate credits for transfer as well as regionally-accredited. Only offers an M.A. in Organizational Leadership, with several optional concentration options. For maximum transfer credit, skip the concentration. MA Organizational Leadership . Academic Programs . Online graduate tuition is currently $360 per credit hour, which is better than most schools. Tuition Rates - Online

totally forgot about CSU's RA sister school. Great pick for transfer credits.
