Natural Science Clep
#11
It is tough for me to do practice tests as theres only so many available. It wouldn't help me to take the same test twice. After some studying with bio, I took a Peterson bio Clep test in which I got 64/110. I want to improve my bio more before taking a Peterson practice test for Clep Natural Science though. Anyone know good benchmark scores for the Peterson practice tests? Also I have access of 2 REA natural science practice tests. Should I be looking at 75+% to be confident of passing?

I've taken the Free-Clep Prep Bio practice test and I got a 52.17%. The website would recommend a 60% to pass a bio Clep. Unfortunately, they do not have a natural science practice test. How do the Bio questions compare there to the Natural Science Clep? I would imagine the Natural Science Clep bio questions would be more general? I only have 3 Natural science practice tests left so I'm holding off until I get my Bio practice part to a reasonable score as bio is my weakest science.

I went to the library and got Barron's Clep study guide for the general tests. It has practice tests in Natural Science. I plan on taking those practice tests in the next few days. I also plan on taking 2 REA practice tests and a Peterson test all for the Natural Science. I will post my scores here. Anyone know how well Barron's compare to the actual Clep? I've heard Peterson is harder and REA is easier. What scores should I shoot for? I plan on taking this test by next week if my scores are good.

I got a 53 on Biology and a 57 on Natural Science. The resources I have mentioned are great. I recommend scoring above 60% on practice tests before you take your tests.

Hi Bjh

How hard was it? I am thinking of taking it next week and I feel unprepared. I have studied hard for it but science is not my domain.

You took the Clep already? How hard was it?
