Non-Profit DBA Options
#1
So I'm researching options for a doctorate with these parameters:
  • regionally accredited
  • ACBSP accredited
  • online
  • economical
  • non-profit
and I'm finding a lot of for-profits. Trolling through the threads on this forum I found California Southern U which looks like a solid non-pro option. Are there others?

As always... thank you experts on higher ed. I don't know what I'd do without you.

Isn't California Southern University for-profit? Liberty University offers a DBA. You can get a 25% discount by becoming an emergency services volunteer. The Civil Air Patrol is probably the easiest way to do this.

Yup - it's for profit. Search engine brought up SoCal and I was scanning too quick.
Liberty....um, I don't discuss politics or religion on forums. And I'll leave it at that. But thank you for the suggestion.
California Southern is certainly right priced though. Anyone have any experience with it?

I did a quick search on ACBSP and came up with a few - all for profit schools.
From some of the big names, none of them were cheaper than SoCal.
So, I went through the entire list of 131 results and voila... found MY perfect program!

Well bkcheung77, glad I could help you get what you need!
Only kidding - I looked at that program as well but the residency and price took it off the list.
Spoke with a CalSo admissions advisor today. The price and flexibility are both wins.
Guess it's gonna be for profit.

It's completely understandable. I have the same issues with Liberty. I just thought I'd throw that option out there just in case you didn't.

I'm assuming that you're fine with paying out of pocket because California Southern University does not participate in Title IV funding (financial aid).
