Second Bachelors
#71
Hodges is definitely a program that I was hoping to attend compared to WGU. Sadly their program is ending and they didn't really give much time for sign ups. Looking at their MPA requirements I exactly just met that criteria lol. I have a bit higher than 2.75 GPA because of my A's towards the end of my B&M school.

But WGU has an amazing program as well and their alumni network is growing + many reviews and feedback + you at least know what you need to do going into it.

I made a choice with going for WGU MSML similar to Hodges MPA. I have to wait for my last class grades to come in and March graduation etc.

If you get your MBA at WGU , MSML is just missing like 6 courses? Imagine that double masters!
My Plan: Earn a MSML or a MBA at WGU!

Not unconditional. You have to promise not to use your newfound power to become Darth Vader or Voldemort. Didn't you sign the pledge?  Wink

Even if it's like a community college we took one course at to transfer to TESU? That's a pain. Do you know if they will let us skip an undergrad transcript if it was some extra course not used in the degree?

What about taking 8 UExcels in 2-4 weeks, whatever subjects are easiest/quickest for you? I'm not sure it would work. About $160 each. (I don't think Straighterline would work.)

Maybe 1 UExcel can bring you above 2.0 GPA, or maybe a very easy community college course like a 1 credit computer class. I think some schools want 2.0 GPA. Some 2.3?

I'm afraid that, yes, you have to send that transcript with one lonely irrelevant course on it. Several people who applied to GT's OMSCS found their application blocked when the school discovered some transcript was missing. The schools all subscribe to a national registry that identifies all the schools you've attended. If you miss one, they will know. BTW, I believe the same applies to TESU when being audited for graduation. They want all the transcripts so they can be sure that you didn't earn an earlier degree they don't know about and that you meet the requirements for GPA on transfer courses.

Another way to increase your GPA is to go back to the original school and retake failed courses. it works twice as well as adding an A because it removes an F or D at the same time. However, some schools don't allow this, and there's no guarantee that the target school will make the same accommodation when computing your GPA. You would have to ask before trying this.
