Default What's with all the school video recordings these days?

It just hit me today when I was looking for speech examples that there are so many videos of students and teachers in the classrooms. What's the point of recording everyone and posting on youtube? I wouldn't want a video of me screwing up a presentation to exist for all eternity on youtube but maybe that's just me?

I'm with you on this one. Who would want a terrible video of themselves to be plastered on the WWW?

    these days
These days everyone has a video camera in their pocket (cell phone), which is something we did not used to have readily available year back.

I disagree. Take a look at this tiny camcorder from yesteryear.
