I do the same things for studying boring material as I do when it comes to eating 'good-for-you' vegetables that taste nasty....I plug my nose & choke them down.
Not always the most glamorous, but hey...it works for me...most of the time, anyway.

I think it's good to have a friend (or at least someone to talk to), that is educated/interested in history. I absolutely hate studying it or even writing papers on historical topics. My fiance is a huge history buff, and although as much as I don't want to admit it.. he rubs off on me. *It helped me get a B in US History since 1865.
My uncle also rubbed off on me. He is 60 y/o and an accountant. I don't see him much.. but last semester he helped me when I was in accounting. I was just overwhelmed while looking at the homework in the first chapter.. he looked at me (with his huge glasses) and said "you're thinking too much into it, it's not rocket science". Then it hit me and I never needed his help again. Sometimes just having a person to put things into perspective is helpful. It helps on my part if the person is someone I can relate to. |

Well, I finished (passed) all of my history classes. So, guess what I figured out? It's less study time and FASTER if you learn it now! See, you'll have this demon with you for a month or a year- your choice! ![]()
