I'm Sure You Will Not Miss Me But....

My Wife and I will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and will be sailing on the Carnival Inspiration tomorrow and be back next week so as strange as it may seem (it does to me) I will not be posting for several days -

Nevertheless, I will be studying, err at least reading a biography on one of my favorite US Army Generals - William Tecumseh Sherman; sorry Atlanta students!

So, keep on task, study, pass those exams and I'll se you guys next week!

Ever since I began studying for the Civil War exam, I've begun this fascination with the war, and specifically, Sherman, Grant & Lee! It' s so addicting. Let me know how the biography is (I'm sure it'll be worth reading).

    Default I'm Back!!!

    I'm Back!

Wow - What an incredible experience!

All I can say is that if any of you current and future grads are looking for a the perfect way to celebrate your accomplishments then I say............TAKE A GRADUATION CRUISE!!!

Just for further info, the cruise that my Bride of 25 years and I took was the Carnival Inspiration that sails out of Tampa to Cozumel, Mexico. We didn't have to lift a finger and everything from our stateroom accomodations, food, and entertainment was top notch and very affordable.

The cruise of course was meant to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary on our actual wedding day - 5/1/83, however I surprised my Bride with an even bigger 25th anniversary trip that we will take in July.......Honolulu, Hawaii!!!!!

    Default Cool!

    Awww...what a lucky bride!

I just came back from a cruise (semi-graduation celebration!) a couple of weeks ago. And you're right...there is NOTHING like cruising. I love it.

I'm glad to hear you had a great time.

I'm glad you had such a wonderful cruise experience with your wife of 25 years! Your Hawaii surprise gift will also be a gorgeous trip - something exciting and romantic to look forward to!

In the meantime, it is good to have you back! I have restrained myself a few times in your absence regarding responding to comments about students who get high scores on tests are wasting their time as it is unnecessary to pass, unless of course they are doing it for the purely "blah blah romantic reason" of actually learning the material.

Perhaps a learning styles discussion will get you right back into the swing of things!! A Global versus Sequential learning style discussion might be a good place to start!
