    Default Tomatoe Salmonella Outbreak

Just thought I'd throw this out there.
Has anyone here been affected by the tainted tomatoes? Other than some restaurants not putting it in your food as a precaution.

    Default tomato issues

NO, but I did get VERY ill from that bad spinach a while back.
Not fun, but I still eat raw spinach all the time.

Eh, some of our local places have removed tomatoes from the menu or placed signs on their doors about it. Other than that, no.

I'm not missing the tomatoes terribly here in Texas, there's always ketchup in the fridge whenever I want some zing.

Now..the spinach thing..that really got to my sister. she loves raw spinach from the bags. I don't really expect the tomato salmanella outbreak to ever get that bad. E.Coli. outbreaks are more concerning to me even though I really should be concerned about both.

Actually I'm most concerned about West Nile, the first case of the season of the state was in my county! that means it's going to be a fun 4th of July...sticky..and tons of bugs.
